MeMo Masterclass is a master class with the aim to develop personal projects in photojournalism and video documentary in all stages from the concept to promotion led by the award-winning photographers of MeMo: Manu Brabo, Fabio Bucciarelli, José Colón, Diego Ibarra Sánchez and Guillem Valle.

The Masterclass explores the tension between truth and interpretation, the personal vision of the storytelling process, the strategies for creating effective visual stories, the overview of those elements needed to produce a documentary photo and video project.

“MeMo Masterclass made possible for me to be part of the team led by such experienced and talented photographers as our mentors, it gave me the platform to have my work reviewed by Diego Ibarra Sánchez. This experience enabled me to look at my work more critically. The most useful aspect is that mentorship did not end with the masterclass, but continues even now.”

Sara Farid, student of MeMo Masterclass 2016-2017

"'Having the opportunity to share your work with 5 photography masters, without haste, and in an intimate environment, is an incomparable luxury' 'Not only I got plenty of good advice and energy from this Masterclass, but I also made 5 good friends. I will always be grateful to them for putting their hearts into it'"
