Tekki Fii’  initiative

Tekki Fii´– which means ‘Make It Here’ in Wolof – is a movement by Gambians, for Gambians to change the perception about irregular migration and champion home-made success stories while providing information about economic opportunities for young Gambians.

The masterclass aims to be part of the development and future prospects for The Gambia’s youth, including returning and/or potential migrants by promoting attractive employment and income opportunities in its attempt to nurture perception shift for the Gambian population moving away from a ‘future through migration’ to a ‘future in The New Gambia’.
